Whether you have been referred, contacted us via our online book form or telephone, we will arrange a convenient date and time for you to attend a consultation. This entails a general health assessment, comprehensive oral examination and required x-rays. The consultation will provide us with the necessary information to assess your overall dental health, and plan for treatment accordingly. A full health assessment of your teeth, gums, hard and soft tissues in and around your mouth will be undertaken.

After assessment of what treatment is required; treatment options can be discussed. Each option will be explained, the advantages and disadvantages can be evaluated, and the most suitable option for the patient is determined.

Once the most suitable treatment option is established for the patient, a step by step plan can be strategised. This will give both the clinician and patient an indication of what is required to achieve the desired outcomes. We believe that it is important for our patients to be able to make well-informed decisions with regard to their dental treatment by being, open, honest and transparent.

Record keeping is an essential element which documents important details of patient management and history. This will include notes made at every visit, treatment history and images. A history of treatment and progression of dental health can be monitored and can be vital information for potential future treatments.

Follow-up appointments should be scheduled after treatment is complete. By doing so, we can evaluate treatment that has been done, and detection and prevention of other potential dental problems. It is advisable to schedule your regular check-ups and cleaning on a six monthly/bi-annual basis.

When a treatment option which is best suited for the patient is approved, we can commence with treatment.
